Senior Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Grand Rapids, MI)

Summit Junction Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for treatment plant data in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
