Senior Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Grand Rapids, MI)

Bright West Environmental Services Partners is an environmental-services company in Grand Rapids with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for recycling loads in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
