Senior Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Birmingham, AL)

Redstone Umber Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Birmingham. We are hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for production batches in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
