Senior Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Northwind Granite Housing Group and adding a Senior Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for waiting lists in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with waiting lists. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
