Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Rochester, NY)

Stonegate Beacon Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Rochester and nearby communities, and we need a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
