Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Rochester, NY)

Fernwood River Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Rochester plant. We are hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for customer orders in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
