Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Ironwood Lantern Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for service appointments in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
