Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Silverline Bright Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Grand Rapids and nearby communities. We are hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for pipe repairs in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
