Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Fernwood Union Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Fort Worth, and we need a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for safety inspections in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
