Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Ironwood Bridge Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Detroit with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 173 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for service complaints in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
