Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Oakland, CA)

Cedar Pine Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Oakland, and we need a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would join a large organisation of about 218 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
