Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Oakland, CA)

Silverline Forge Freight is looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
