Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Hartford, CT)

Greenridge Birch Freight Group is looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
