Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Detroit, MI)

Greenridge Ashton Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Detroit with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for weigh tickets in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
