Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Detroit, MI)

Bright Corner Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Detroit area. We are hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for pipe repairs in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
