Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Birmingham, AL)

Westbrook Kestrel Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Birmingham and nearby communities. We are hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
