Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Birmingham, AL)

Redstone Umber Foods is looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 122 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for customer specifications in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
