Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Manufacturing and adding a Senior Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for machine downtime in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
