Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Austin, TX)

Ironwood Vale Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Austin, and we need a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for water quality in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
