Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Austin, TX)

Amberfield Iron Press Group produces print and digital publications in Austin, and we need a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for press runs in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
