Senior Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Austin, TX)

Ironwood Ashton Freight is looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
