Senior Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Fern Freight and adding a Senior Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be equipment repair. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
