Senior Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Sparrow Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Rochester, and we need a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for service complaints in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
