Senior Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Bright Umber Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Jackson, and we need a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for recycling loads in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
