Senior Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Fernwood Clear Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Jackson, and we need a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of about 471 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for collection routes in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
