Senior Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Lantern Water Authority and adding a Senior Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of about 721 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
