Senior Maintenance Technician - building systems (remote)

Fernwood Rook Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Austin plant, and we need a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for paper stock in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
