Senior Maintenance Technician - building systems (Chicago, IL)

Northwind Beacon Water Authority is looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician. The job centres on building systems for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for water quality in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
