Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Wichita, KS)

Nova Beacon Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for production lines. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
