Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Virginia Beach, VA)

Clearpath Ember Press is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for paper stock, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for paper stock. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with paper stock.
