Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Tucson, AZ)

Amberfield Junction Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 170 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for tooling. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
