Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Tucson, AZ)

Fernwood River Markets Partners is a Tucson retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for pricing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with pricing. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
