Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Tucson, AZ)

Foxglove Meridian Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Tucson with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for fleet maintenance. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
