Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Tucson, AZ)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Ember Construction and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 664 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for safety records. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
