Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Toledo, OH)

Silverline Maple Press is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 918 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
