Fernwood West Freight Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 562 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner.
