Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Savannah, GA)

Northwind Glen Foods Group is a Savannah food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 533 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
