Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (San Diego, CA)

Bright Sable Press is a printer and publisher in San Diego serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
