Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Lantern Construction Group and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 877 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for subcontractor invoices. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
