Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Sacramento, CA)

Northwind Stone Farms is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for grower contracts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
