Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Beacon Construction is a Rochester contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 683 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for materials orders. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
