Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Rochester, NY)

Northwind Pine Press is a printer and publisher in Rochester serving local and national clients, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for bindery work. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
