Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Bright Basin Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Houston. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for client sites. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
