Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Cedar Beacon Manufacturing Associates is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for work orders. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
