Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Lumen Bridge Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Seattle, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
