Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Ironwood Oak Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
