Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Nova Pike Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Dallas. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 166 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for project schedules. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
