Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Bright Lakeside Freight Partners is a Kansas City logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for carrier rates. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
