Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Stonegate Basin Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Austin, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 125 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for scheduling. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
