Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Portland, OR)

Bluepeak Birch Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Portland with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Portland. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for collection routes. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
